Fire Marshal Martin J. McHale, Bureau of Fire Investigation Citywide North (Queens Base), (appointed July 16, 1989) Died December 24, 2012.
"Woody" was an active member, Treasurer and past membership Chair of the Fraternal Order of Police, New York City Fire Marshals Lodge #20; Vice President of the Fire Marshals Benevolent Association; a former player and coach of the FDNY Football Team; former member of Squad 252 and as those who had the privilege of working beside him know that he bled FDNY, was a conscientious, hard working investigator, a barrel of laughs and pleasure to call a friend. He will be missed and we wish he rest in peace.
